Catherine Phiri Fights Early Marriage

Former WBC Bantamweight champion Catherine Phiri today returns to the ring fighting to end early marriages.

The tournament, scheduled for Solwezi today, has five bouts, with Catherine’s fight against Tanzania’s Halima Omari Yaziou being the main one for the day.

In the opening fight, Gracious Simwalizi will be taking on Philemon Hala while Lorita Muzeya will exchange punches with Asha Abubakar Rusura.

Alfred ‘Ibrahim’ Muwowo will be fighting Ramadhani Kimweri Semahanda and Charles Manyuchi will take on Karage Singano Suba.
