24 PUPILS ARRESTED OVER DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE

Law enforcement agencies in Kitwe have arrested 24 pupils, aged between 15 and 21 concerning drug and alcohol abuse within school premises.

The arrests took place on Tuesday morning and the pupils in question have been detained at Kitwe Riverside Police Station.

SHEPOLOPOLO 0-5 DEFEAT TO UGANDA IN FINAL MATCH

On Tuesday, Shepolopolo Women’s ended their WAFCON friendly campaign with a 5-0 loss to Uganda in Marrakesh.

The Ugandans dispatched Shepolopolo convincingly with 3 goals coming just before the half time break.

Goals coming from Rita Kivumbi, Fauzia Najjemba and Viola Nambi respectively. Nambi completed her brace shortly after the break with a strike in the 57th minute with Fazila Ikwaput completing the dominant performance.
