Missing Zambian Found In South African Hospital
A missing Zambian man who was reported missing in South Africa has been discovered in a hospital after being hit by a car.
Elija Makina, 46, was reported missing two days ago while on a trip to Johannesburg. He has since been discovered in the city’s Tembisa Hospital after some good Samaritans took him in following a hit-and-run accident.
Mr Makina’s wife told the Zambian High Commission of the developments yesterday evening, adding that her husband remained in hospital. Family members back home have also been notified.
Mrs Makina thanked the Acting High Commissioner in Pretoria Inonge Mwenya and her staff for their support, saying it would have been incredibly difficult to locate him otherwise.
