President Hichilema will soon sign the Trade and Investment Bill into law, says Commerce, Trade, and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga.
The bill aims to promote trade, business development, and national and international investment to foster economic growth and development.
Speaking at the Zambia@60 business breakfast, Mulenga urged local businesses and international investors to take advantage of government incentives created to promote trade.
Isabel Lemba, National Steering Committee Chairperson, said that businesses will play a key role in commemorating Zambia@60.
Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary for Administration, Mutant Musonda, said the breakfast was an opportunity for the government and the private sector to continue improving the country’s business environment.
