Qualification to Olympic games ‘super excites' gold medalist Zulu

Gold medalist Simon Zulu says he is super excited that he has qualified for the Youth Olympic Games. Zulu will participate in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be staged in Buenos Sires, Argentina between October 6 and 18. Zulu, who has been training from the Olympic Youth Development Centre, reigned supreme by minting Gold at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Bahamas last year.

Earlier this year, he minted another Gold medal after participating in the African Cadet Championships in the 60kg category in Bujumbura, Burundi.

“I am super excited that I qualified for the Youth Olympic Games. Training here at OYDC has been good and my mission is to come back home with another Gold medal. Special thanks to my coach Sensei Francis Moola Lipimile and the Zambia Judo Association Zambia Judo Association,” he said at OYDC.
