Zambia To Face Malawi, Namibia and Comoros In COSAFA Group Stages
Zambia has been placed in Group B of the 2020 COSAFA Men’s Under-20 Championship, facing off against Malawi, Namibia and Comoros in the early stages of the competition.
The competition, due to be held in South Africa next month, will serve as zonal qualifiers for the 2021 CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Hosts South Africa will clash with Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Lesotho in Group A, while Angola, Eswatini and Botswana will battle it out in the three-nation Group C.
The top teams and first runners up in each group will advance to the semi finals, with the winning teams progressing to the showpiece final.
Meanwhile, in the Under-17s championship, defending champions Zambia will play against Botswana, Malawi and Comoros in the group stages.
