Minister of Water Development and Sanitation, thanks EU for their commitment to Zambia
Mike Mposha, Minister for Water Development and Sanitation, has commended the European Union (EU) for its financial and technical support to Zambia.
The announcement came during the EU Day celebrations in Lusaka.
He explained that the EU has aided Zambia in multiple sectors of the economy including health, energy, agriculture and climate change.
President Hakainde Hichilema Reiterates Absolute Commitment To Improving The Economy
President Hakainde Hichilema has assured Zambians of his commitment to improving the Zambian economy.
Following a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, he further expressed the bilateral ties between the two countries and outlined his plans to increase trade and investment.
He said, “And in our continued efforts to turn around our country’s economic standing that was marred with corruption and unstable business environment, we have today held more engagements with varying trade and investment partners here in Cape Town, South Africa who have been doing economic activities in our country.”

Superstar and CEO Rihanna has announced plans to sell her Fenty Beauty make-up range in eight different African countries, one of which is Zambia.
The pop star took to social media to show her excitement for the brand’s expansion. She said, “she had "been waiting for this moment" adding that this was "just the beginning.”
The company reportedly made US$100 million in its first 40 days making it one of the most successful celebrity make-up brands globally.
