President HH Reiterates Crack Down On Corruption Will Be Successful

 President Hakainde Hichilema has assured the country that new reforms to crack down on corruption will catch up with those who have broken the law.

 He said that the fight against corruption will continue with everything that is legally at the government’s disposal being used.

 

 

New Pro Bono Framework Praised By Minister Of Justice

 Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Justice, has praised the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) for the launch of its pro bono policy framework.

 The framework aims to provide free legal counsel to those most disadvantaged.

 He said that the policy will ensure the fundamental right of legal representation to all Zambians.  

 

Zambia And Namibia Join Forces To Fight Malaria

 The Ministers of Health for both Zambia and Namibia had pledged to join forces in the fight against malaria.

 The news came during World Malaria Day, which was held in Namibia this year.

 The countries reiterated their support for the Zambia-Namibia (NAMZAM) Cross Border Malaria Initiative that was started in 2016.
