GOVERNMENT OUTLINES ITS COMMITMENT TO ENHANCING PUBLIC SECTOR

Patrick K. Kangwa, Acting Secretary to the Cabinet, stated that the key to bettering the lives of Zambians is through building a strong public sector.

The announcement came during the celebration of the 2022 Africa Public Service Day on ZNBC.

This year the theme for the day will be “Enhancing the resilience of the African public administration to support and facilitate the realization of Africa’s nutritional needs during and post covid-19 pandemic.”

The celebration is due to take place tomorrow.

 

PRESIDENT HICHILEMA TO TRAVEL TO BELGIUM AND RWANDA

Tomorrow President Hakainde Hichilema will travel to Belgium and Rwanda following an invitation from Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Union Commission and Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.

Following his visit to Belgium, the president will fly to Kigali, Rwanda to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which starts tomorrow.

The two visits will both look to enhance international relations between Zambia and the EU and other Commonwealth Nations.
