OVER TWO-HUNDRED COMMUNITY PROJECTS APPROVED UNDER CDF
Gary Nkombo, Local Government and Rural Development Minister, has announced that 216 community projects have been approved under the Community Development Fund (CDF).
The projects are due to be implemented in 38 constituencies.
He stated that the 10,200 pupils in 88 constituencies have been granted secondary school bursaries, with a further 6,173 youths gaining access to skills development bursaries.
194 CHILDREN GIVEN BURSARIES FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL IN CENTRAL PROVINCE
194 school children have been offered secondary school boarding bursaries through CDF in Serenje District in Central Province.
The announcement was confirmed by Serenje town council secretary Milly Muluti.
Additionally, a further 226 pupils are awaiting approval for bursaries relating to skills training.

Following his departure from Raith Rovers, Frankie Musonda signed with another Scottish Championship club, Ayr United.
The 24-year-old former Chipolopolo defender announced his departure from Raith last Thursday and waited six days before announcing his new partnership.
