TWO ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF A GOVERNMENT TROPHY WORTH OVER K90,000

Arnold Kasongamulilo, Kapiri Mposhi Resident Magistrate, has announced that two men have been arrested for the possession of a government trophy worth over K90,000.

Geoffrey Simbeye and Patrick Chilumba had stolen the trophy and eleven pieces of elephant ivory.

Following a tip-off, the two were arrested by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife.

ZAMBEEF SIGNS $35 MILLION MOU WITH INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION

The Zambeef and The International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed a $35 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The deal is expected to boost the value of the agricultural sector.

The move is also set to increase food production in the wake of global food insecurity.

The initiative shows the New Dawn Government’s commitment to improving the lives of farmers and putting Zambian exports on the global market.
