ACTION AID PRAISES MINISTRY FOR OPERATIONS
Action Aid Zambia (AAZ) has praised the Ministry of Finance for engaging independent auditing firms to undertake a comprehensive review.
They stated that the tightening of fiscal space alongside Zambia’s debt challenges means that this engagement of independent firms will ensure the review is done effectively.
PRESIDENT HICHILEMA WARNS AGAINST EXTREMISM
President Hakainde Hichilema has urged Zambians living abroad to be careful of extremism, especially crimes such as human trafficking.
He said that there have been reports of diaspora contributing to crime and destabilising peace, something the president warned against.
First Lady Is Praised By Italian Counterpart
The Italian First Lady, Laura Mattarella, has praised Zambian First Lady, Mutinta Hichilema for her Stay in School Initiative.
The initiative looks to keep girls in school and empower women and youths with skills to encourage self-reliance.
