ECONOMIC TRAJECTORY SET TO KEEP IMPROVING

The New Dawn government have outlined that the positive economic trajectory is set to stay and improve.

Felix Nkulukusa, Secretary to the Treasury, has stated that the government will remain transparent and accountable in order to achieve key economic targets.

The government has also released its Medium Term Budget Plan which creates a platform for the government and stakeholders to generate clear policy to improve Zambia’s development agenda.

 

IMPROVEMENTS WATER SYSTEM IN MUKUNI ANNOUNCED

President Hakainde Hichilema announced that he has commissioned a mechanised water system in Mukuni Village of Kazungula District, Southern Province.

He stated that the project is part of Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) ‘s corporate social responsibility.

President Hichilema outlined that the system should end all the issues surrounding the area's water challenges.

 

MINISTER OF ENERGY MEETS WITH SONANGOL

Peter Chibwe Kapala, Minister of Energy, has met with Sonangol headquarters to discuss Zambia’s interests in importing oil products through the company.

The minister has undertaken the four-day trip to Angola, where the company is based, to reaffirm Zambia’s position.
