Voter Registration Resumes in 20 Districts
The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced it will resume the Continuous Registration of Voters (CRV) process in 20 districts across the country.
In an official notice on Monday, ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager Patricia Luhanga confirmed that CRV activities have recommenced. It comes after a temporary suspension on February 27th 2024 to organise and verify voter records taken in 2023.
CRV will now resume in the following 20 districts: Chinsali, Chipata, Congwe, Choma, Kabwe, Kapombo, Kasama, Kitwe, Livingstone, Lundazi, Lusaka, Mansa, Mbala, Mkushi, Mongu, Nakonde, Ndola, Nchelenge, Sesheke, and Solwezi.
Stakeholders and members of the public are reminded that all Voter Registration Centres in the 20 aforementioned districts have resumed operations. These centres will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with weekends and public holidays excluded.
