Chipolopolo Ready For Malawi Friendly
Chipolopolo are this week set to take on Malawi in an international friendly match at National Heroes Stadium. It is the first of three international friendlies scheduled for the FIFA window that runs from October 5-14.
The national team previously encountered Malawi in a friendly in March of this year, shortly before Coronavirus hit the continent. The result was a 1-0 victory for Chipolopolo following a goal from Collins Sikombe.
Chipolopolo are also scheduled to play two away fixtures, meeting Kenya in Nairobi on October 9 and South Africa in Rustenburg on October 11.
The details are still being finalized and the matches will take place in line with the recommendations of the technical bench, with the intention of giving the national team some international exposure and a chance to check local players.
