Patson Daka problem spotted as Leicester City striker receives advice
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Robbie Keane has highlighted one key attribute that Patson Daka needs to improve if he is to become a success at Leicester City.
The 23-year-old joined the Foxes in the summer for a fee rumoured to be around £23m on a five-year deal but has had an inconsistent season in-front of goal so far.
Daka has featured in 12 Premier League matches for the Foxes this season, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.
His role at the King Power Stadium has increased over recent weeks, however, as Jamie Vardy continues to recover from an injury.
"I really like him," Keane said of the striker whilst talking on Sky Sports ahead of Leicester's Premier League clash at Wolves.
"He’s scored some really good goals. [There are] big boots to fill with Jamie Vardy out of the team.
"He needs to start getting in behind like Vardy does to stretch the defenders. Last week, the game I was watching he was coming too deep. I do like him."
Striker Vardy has been out of action with a hamstring injury since the 1-0 win against Liverpool at the end of December and is expected to remain sidelined until March.
