Labour Day Tournament Won by Kansanshi Foundation

Kansanshi Foundation netball team scooped the Copperbelt Netball Association Labour Day tournament last weekend in Kitwe.

The event, held at the Arthur Davies Stadium, was played as a round robin, with Kansanshi winning with a total of nine points. They were two points ahed of second place, Kamfinsa Blue Eagles.

Their highest scoring game saw Kansanshi beat the Blue Eagles 18 points to 9, with other matches seeing them beat the Kitwe Rifles by 6 points and suffering a loss to Chiwenzi 13 points to 8. Chiwenzi placed third overall.
